Note To Self: be grateful I only have to do this type of list once a year.

If you've tweeted me and your name isn't on this list, then I apologise.

My favourite name on that list is Stephen Fry - I was actually properly giddy with excitement when I realised he'd replied to something I said!

After doing some calculations (because I'm sad like that) I have found out that Ali DeFoy was the most prolific reply-er, so thank you Ali.

The Top 5 Reply-ers were
  1. Ali DeFoy
  2. Suzie Samuels
  3. Kelsey-Beth Crossley
  4. Pooja Shah
  5. Angellica Bell

A big thank you to everyone.

The Fool.

Happy New Year 2013

Hello, and I hope you are all well.

I start with a resolution - to try to update this more and also try to get more people to do the Seven Deadly Sins questionnaire.

YEAR IN REVIEW (A SMALL REVIEW)

2012 saw so many interesting things happen.

A new series of Red Dwarf (which I thought was great), London held the Olympics and did a fantastic job (we should try it again sometime), Lance Armstrong turned out to be a drugs cheat, and Jimmy Savile turned out to be pure evil (who'd have known it - well most of the BBC by the sounds of it).

Big love to my former (albeit fictitious) employers, Will and Kate, on the announcement of a pregnancy (lovely).

Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy came to a stunning conclusion with The Dark Knight Rises, hopefully whoever takes over the directing on the next Batman film won't bugger it up.

IN MEMORIAM

Sadly in 2012 we saw the passing of quiet a few noteworthy people - here are the ones I'd heard of.
  • Bob Weston
  • Bob Holness
  • Etta James
  • Ian Abercrombie
  • Colin Tarrant
  • Whitney Houston
  • David Kelly
  • Ken Goodwin
  • Frank Carson
  • Davy Jones
  • Doug Furnas
  • Philip Madoc
  • Robert B. Sherman
  • Philip Jenkinson
  • Dick Clark
  • Adam Yauch
  • Vidal Sassoon
  • Donald "Duck" Dunn
  • Robin Gibb
  • Caroline John
  • Henry Hill
  • Victor Spinetti
  • Andy Griffith
  • Hollie Stevens
  • Eric Sykes
  • Ernest Borgnine
  • Simon Ward
  • Sherman Hemsley
  • Mary Tamm
  • Geoffrey Hughes
  • Gore Vidal
  • Scott McKenzie
  • Phyllis Diller
  • Nina Bawden
  • Jerry Nelson
  • Neil Armstrong - probably the most impressive person on this list - actually walked on the moon
  • Max Bygraves
  • Michael Clarke Duncan
  • Terry Nutkins
  • Andy Williams
  • Herbert Lom
  • John Clive
  • Sylvia Kristel
  • Mike Morris
  • Brad Armstrong
  • Beverley Goodway
  • Clive Dunn
  • Bill Tarmey
  • Larry Hagman
  • Dinah Sheridan
  • Buddy Roberts
  • Sir Patrick Moore
  • Kenneth Kendall
  • Charles Durning
  • Jack Klugman
  • Fontella Bass
  • Tony Greig
  • Baron William Rees-Mogg
Rather depressing that list, isn't it.

On a slightly lighter note - I notice that the apocalyptic prediction that some thought the Mayan's had didn't happen. So there's always that to smile about.

The Fool.
